This position is an at-large member of the Planning and Zoning Commission, appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council for a term of 5 years. The Commission meets the first Wednesday of every month at 5:30 pm in the City Council Chambers located at City Hall.
The Planning and Zoning Commission serves as an advisory board to the Grand Forks City Council. The Commission makes decisions on matters relating to land development and long-term city planning. Only citizens that reside in Grand Forks are eligible to hold this position.
