    Thank you for your employment interest with the Grand Forks Police Department. The mission of the department’s police officer recruiting effort is “to recruit, hire, train, and retain the best police officer candidates for the City of Grand Forks.

    If you are interested in applying for the position of police officer with the Grand Forks Police Department follow these easy steps:
    1. The City of Grand Forks and the Grand Forks Police Department accept applications and test for the position of police officer twice annually. You can only submit an application during the timeframe of January 1-31st and June 1-30th of every year.
    2. If you are interested in applying for a position as police officer and the application process is not currently open, you may click on the "intent to apply" link and send an e-mail of interest to the Human Resources Bureau Commander. They will in turn notify you when the application process opens.
    3. Applications and associated application/testing fees are due by the 5:00 pm deadline on January 31st and June 30th. Applications may be picked up directly from the City Human Resources Department, downloaded from the city web site at grandforksgov.com, or downloaded from the “application/matrix form” link below.
    4. All applications and fees should be submitted directly to Human Resources, City Hall, P.O. Box 5200, 255 N. 4th St. Grand Forks, ND 58206-5200.
