The Community Agency Networking Association (CANA) will host the fifth annual Project Connect & VA Stand Down for the homeless or those in need on Thursday, November 21, 2013.

Project Connect is a one-stop-shop that allows local service providers and agencies to help people seeking assistance. This year Project Connect will have over 30 agencies present and will have warm weather clothing, toiletries, and quilts to give away. The VA will also be present with a VA Stand Down and offering assistance to area veterans.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Hope Church, located at 1601 17th Ave. S. in the Grand Cities Mall.

Free bus tickets will be available the day of the event from Northlands Rescue Mission and Northeast Human Service Center – and free Senior Rider or Dial-A-Ride transportation will also be available this year by calling Rachel at 701-795-9143 at least one day before the event.
