Water Line Break Impacts Traffic on Belmont Road

A water line break on Belmont Road in Grand Forks has caused a traffic detour on part of that street.

Motorists will be unable to use Belmont Road between 4th Ave. S. and 8th Ave. S. until repairs can be completed. About a dozen homes in the area have been left without water service, however the nearby Phoenix Elementary school is not affected.

Residents in that area will need to access their homes by alley entrances.

Repair crews hope to have water and traffic restored by the end of the day.
