City, County, State Offices Closed for Presidents' Day 2013

City of Grand Forks News Release - 02/15/2013

Most city offices will be closed on Monday, February 18, 2013 in observance of Presidents’ Day. Regular City business will not be conducted on that day. However, emergency police and fire services will continue to operate as scheduled as well as City Bus, Senior Rider and Dial-A-Ride services which will operate its normal routes.

Regularly scheduled garbage pick-up for Monday, February 18, will be performed as referenced in the 2013 City calendar. Regular Monday pickup for the “A Route” will take place on Tuesday, February 19, and Monday’s “B Route” pickup will take place on Wednesday, February 20.

Recycling pick-up will take place as scheduled on Monday, February 18, 2013. Please place items near the curb for recycling pick-up by 7:00 a.m.

The Grand Forks City Council meeting scheduled for Monday February 18, will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be broadcast live on GFTV Channel 2.

City offices will reopen for regular business on Tuesday, February 19, 2013.

All offices in the County Office building and County Courthouse will be closed on Monday, February 18, including Northeast Human Services and Child Support offices. They will reopen for business on Tuesday, February 19, 2013.
