Here are some of the Data/Communication Themes we've heard to help guide the Data/Communication Action Group:

•Data and facts are important
•Data-driven Best Practices are the best course
•From the questionnaire, individual respondents were 2X more likely to consider addiction as a disease (versus a moral failing) than the community in general
•State of the City poll and questionnaire data shows addressing the opioid crisis, substance abuse and addiction are priorities
•Need more data in general but esp. on the impact and the extent of the issue
•Data and real numbers should be used to clearly communicate key issues to ensure everyone is on the same page
•Community leaders need to communicate their support and demonstrate it with policy action
