  • City Hall Icon Temporary Road Closure Mill Road

    Grand Forks, ND – Crews will close Mill Road, north of Gateway Drive, on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 to allow Burlington Northern Sante Fe Railroad (BNSF) to install a new rail road crossing. Detour signs will be posted. The closure is expected to last for 7-10 days, weather permitting.

  • PD Coin Robbery

    On May 28, 2015 at 1634 hours, Grand Forks Police officers were dispatched to an address in the 2400 block of Glenwood Dr in response to the report of a Robbery that had just occurred.

  • PD Coin Attempted Murder

    Officers were sent to 1850 South 34th Street for a report of a disturbance involving a firearm. Officers were informed that during an altercation in the apartment, the firearm was discharged. The suspect was being detained on scene by the victim when officers arrived on scene. The suspect, Mohamed Aweis Mohamed (DOB 01/01/1984), was taken into custody without further incident.
